Which lash style is right for me?
Classic sets add length and definition with one extension per natural lash — best if you want a natural, mascara-like look. Hybrid blends classic and volume for a textured effect that reads as fuller without being obviously extended. Volume uses hand-made fans of 3–6 lightweight lashes for a soft, fluffy look — the most popular style with our regulars. Mega volume uses 10+ ultra-fine lashes per fan for a dramatic, red-carpet density. Not sure? At the consult we map a style based on your natural lash health, your eye shape, and the look you want — nothing that would compromise your natural lashes.
What happens during a full set appointment?
You'll rest with your eyes closed on a heated bed for 90 minutes to 2.5 hours depending on the style. Under-eye pads protect and separate your lower lashes, then each upper lash is isolated with tweezers and a single extension (or fan) is bonded to it. Most clients find the appointment deeply relaxing — many fall asleep. There's no discomfort, no bright lights, and no touching your eyes.
How long do extensions last?
A full set typically lasts 4–6 weeks. Because your natural lashes shed on a 60–90-day cycle, you'll lose 2–5 extensions per day as their host lash falls out — this is normal and expected. Most clients book a fill every 2–3 weeks so the set stays consistently full. The longest-lasting sets belong to clients who follow aftercare religiously.
The aftercare that actually matters
The single biggest factor in retention is cleansing. Every 1–2 days, foam a lash-safe cleanser onto damp lashes, gently massage with a soft brush, and rinse clean. Brush lashes daily with a spoolie. Keep them dry for 24 hours after application. Avoid oil-based skincare or makeup remover around the eyes. Sleep on your back or side if you can. Do all five and your set will look pristine at week four; skip cleansing and your set will look tired by week two.
What if I've had a bad extension experience before?
Tell us at the consult. The two most common causes of a bad set are poor isolation (extensions bonded to more than one natural lash, which damages the lash and pulls painfully) and inappropriate weight (extensions too long or heavy for the natural lash to support). Both are technique issues, not product issues. We use ultralight fans specifically to protect natural lashes — we'd rather do a slightly shorter, healthier set than a dramatic one that damages your lashes.

Questions
Frequently asked
- What are eyelash extensions?
- Eyelash extensions are individual synthetic lashes applied one-by-one to your natural lashes using a medical-grade adhesive. The result is longer, fuller, darker lashes with no mascara needed — lasting 4–6 weeks with proper care.
- What's the difference between classic, hybrid, volume, and mega volume?
- Classic uses one extension per natural lash for a natural look. Hybrid blends classic and volume for texture. Volume applies fans of 3–6 lightweight lashes for a fluffy, fuller look. Mega volume uses 10+ ultra-fine lashes per fan for maximum density.
- How long does a full set take?
- Between 90 minutes and 2.5 hours depending on the style. You'll rest comfortably with your eyes closed the whole time — most clients find it deeply relaxing and often fall asleep.
- How do I care for my extensions?
- Keep them dry for 24 hours after application, cleanse gently every 1–2 days with a lash-safe foaming cleanser, brush them daily with a spoolie, and avoid oil-based products around the eye area.
- Are eyelash extensions safe?
- Yes, when applied by a certified lash artist using proper isolation. Each extension is bonded only to a single natural lash so your natural lashes shed and regrow on their normal cycle.
- How much do fills cost and how often do I need them?
- Most clients book a fill every 2–3 weeks. Two-week fills start at $65 and three-week fills start at $80. Fill pricing depends on how many lashes need replacement — we'll always confirm before we start.
- Can I wear mascara with lash extensions?
- It's not recommended — mascara can shorten the life of the adhesive and cause premature shedding. If you must, use a water-based mascara made specifically for extensions, and apply only to the tips.
